How Important Will Mike Pence be to Donald Trump?

The nightmare that a number of Americans had back in September is slowly becoming reality. Donald Trump is the Republican nominee and is preparing to be the next president of the United States.

He has all of his ducks in a row now that he has announced that his running mate and potential vice president will be Mike Pence, who has been Indiana’s governor for the past few years.

In an interview with 60 Minutes, Pence, who has had viewpoints that have differed from some of the statements that Trump has made, said that he wouldn’t have a problem telling Trump that he’s doing something wrong Trump responded by saying that he would listen.

It’s great that the duo can say that they will be able to work together when they are on camera, but, the question is whether they can follow through with that if this dream becomes reality.

That’s what is going to make Pence’s job and role so important if they end up in the White House together. As Trump’s vice president, he will have to be willing to voice his opinion and then he’s going to have to be unafraid to tell Trump when he’s wrong.

Unlike Trump, Pence has experience with the government of the United States, something that allows people to take a sigh of relief. As much as some Americans want someone who hasn’t been involved in some kind of government, people understand the importance of having a federal government that is led by people who know what they’re doing.

If Trump does get the nomination, he is going to be surprised at the number of responsibilities that will lie in his hands. Even though many people don’t want Hilary Clinton to get elected, it’s obvious and the fact is that she’s more prepared for it. That’s where Pence will come into play. He will help water down the nerves of the blindsided Donald Trump at the beginning of the process.

Mike Pence will have a very important role if the voters select he and Donald Trump to be the next duo to run the United States and their government.

Well said Joe, but Clinton has proven she cannot run this country. She has proven it as Secretary of State and will destroy our nation. She is a progressive and a leaning toward communism.

What about the system of “Checks and Balances”? I think the country is getting too worked up over the propaganda. It is pretty funny to watch….quite captivating. Like reality TV. The fact of the matter is, we have serious problems that need to be dealt with. Which of these candidates can help “stop the bleeding” the best?
