Excuses will always be there for you. Whether you are debating about taking your dog for a walk or contemplating on studying for an exam, millions of excuses are going to swirl through your head and wait for you to use them.

That’s what separates the good from the great — the ability to overcome the conflict of avoiding the excuses even though using them would be the easiest thing to do.

People with disabilities have to experience and overcome that each and every day. When they encounter a hurdle, they have to decide whether they are going to make excuses or do it the hard way and find a way to become resilient and get passed the obstacle. L

Most of the time, they don’t even consider making excuses and just do whatever they have to do in order to overcome the obstacle. Over time, they become the type of people who want to work with what they have instead of the people who want to make excuses.

We all have a place in the world, but, only some of us have the opportunity to fulfill and be what we were destined to be. People with disabilities get hungry to find out where they belong, but, in order to do that, they have to be willing to fail and avoid the excuses that come their way.

Those with disabilities learn that you will always be able to blame somebody or something else for something that you did wrong. In order for them to be successful in life, they can’t think about what would have happened if things worked out differently.

In the end, disabled people learn that excuses are the only thing that can keep you from maximizing your potential as an individual. Excuses are very easy to use, but, people with disabilities really don’t like to take advantage of them.

Even though excuses are always there and will always be there for them, people with disabilities that you can’t use them and really have to ignore them.
